First Aid for Conservation Organisations
Conservation organisations typically work in rural and remote areas. A mixture of staff and volunteers can be engaged in a wide variety of tasks including, manual labour (with hand tools & power tools), surveys, leading walks, managing work parties and admin tasks.
Long emergency service response times, poor conditions underfoot and the Great British weather can all conspire to make a first aider’s job more difficult. Procedures for lone workers also need to be taken into consideration.
Our training courses take all these factors into consideration and are delivered by staff who have experience dealing with incidents in remote locations.
